These patented Micro-USB charging dongles are for use with Nyko's Modular Charge Station for PlayStation®4 (sold separately). The Charging Adapter pack for the Modular Charge Station includes 2 adapters, which are great as extras to add a 3rd or 4th controller to your charging rotation. They are also great replacements if you have "misplaced" the originals.
The dongle plugs into the Micro-USB port on the front of the DUALSHOCK®4 controller enabling you to easily drop the controller on to the Modular Charge Station for PlayStation®4 to recharge. Once installed on the controller, the adapter is small and light enough that it does not need to be removed. They can remain on the controller even while playing.
