1. Charging & Power Solutions

Our charging docks and battery packs are designed for efficiency and safety. Here are the most common questions regarding our power accessories.

  • What do the LED indicators on my Charge Base mean?
    • Solid Red: Your controller is currently charging.
    • Solid Green: Your controller is fully charged and ready for play.
    • Flashing Red: There may be a connection issue. Please ensure the battery pack is seated correctly and the contact pins are clean.
  • How long does a full charge take?
    • Most controllers reach a full charge in 2–4 hours, depending on the remaining battery level and the specific model (e.g., Xbox Series X|S vs. PS5).
  • Are Nyko battery packs compatible with all controllers?
    • Our packs are specifically keyed for their intended consoles. Please check the product packaging or listing to ensure compatibility (e.g., "Designed for Xbox" or "Compatible with PS5").
  • Can I use my own rechargeable AA batteries in the Charge Base?
    • No. Our Charge Bases are designed to work exclusively with the specialized Nyko rechargeable battery packs included with the unit.

2. Audio & Connectivity

From the NP5-5000 to our classic Jungle headsets, here is how to get the best sound.

  • My headset is plugged in, but I can’t hear anything.
    1. Ensure the 3.5mm jack is fully seated in the controller.
    2. Check the physical volume dial on the headset cable or earcup.
    3. Check your console settings (Settings > Sound > Output to Headphones > All Audio).
  • People can't hear me in the game chat. What should I do?
    • Ensure the "Mute" switch on your headset is in the OFF position.
    • Check your console's "Microphone Level" settings to ensure the input is being registered.
  • Is my headset compatible with PC or Mobile?
    • Most Nyko headsets using a 3.5mm jack are compatible with any device that has a standard headphone jack. For PCs with separate Pink/Green ports, a Y-splitter may be required.

As gaming evolves, so does our gear. Here is what you need to know about our newest line.

  • Are these accessories compatible with the original Nintendo Switch?
    • While some cables are universal, our Switch 2 Gamer Docks and protective cases are precision-molded specifically for the newer hardware dimensions and may not fit the original console.
  • Does the Nyko Dock support 4K output?
    • Our latest docking stations are engineered to support the maximum output capabilities of the console. Please ensure you are using a High-Speed HDMI cable for the best resolution.

4. Shipping, Returns, & Warranty

  • How do I track my order?
    • Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking link. You can also log into your Shopify account to see your order status.
  • What is your return policy?
    • We offer a 30-day return policy for items in their original packaging. Please contact our support team to initiate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
  • Does my product have a warranty?
    • Yes, Nyko products typically come with a 90-day limited warranty against manufacturer defects.

  • Clean the Pins: Use a dry cotton swab to gently clean the gold contact pins on your dock and battery packs once a month to prevent dust buildup.
  • Battery Health: If you aren't using your console for an extended period, it is best to store battery packs at roughly 50% charge rather than fully empty.
