LOS ANGELES – June 11, 2019 - Nyko Technologies, the inventive LA-based video game accessories manufacturer, today announced their latest lineup of accessories for Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One® at the 2019 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles. Standout products include Sound Pad, a sound effects controller attachment for use with PS4™ and Xbox One, Dpad Case, a dockable protective case with a configurable Dpad attachment for Nintendo Switch™, and Mini Wireless Core Controller, a compact-sized edition of last years Wireless Core Controller that features a 3.5mm audio port. Nyko’s E3 lineup also introduces new color options for Wireless Core Controller and Dualies.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Lineup
Sound Pad
Sound Pad is a sound effects controller attachment that provides a unique way to communicate in online games or party chats by sending fun sound effects over voice chat. The pad features 11 buttons each preset with a fun sound effect and a cancellation button that can instantly stop the playback of any sound. Sound Pad is programmable, allowing each button audio customization. The device conveniently connects to the bottom of a controller through the 3.5mm audio port. A headset pass-through enables a headset to be plugged into the bottom of Sound Pad preserving audio and chat functionality while allowing the user to hear the sound effects being sent. Volume of the sound effects is adjustable through the dedicated volume control. Each button is backlit providing an easy way to use Sound Pad while playing in low light environments. A built-in rechargeable battery powers the device and a Micro USB cable is included. Sound Pad will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Fall 2019 for an MSRP of $24.99.
Nintendo Switch Lineup
Dpad Case is an ultra-thin, dockable protective case for the Switch console and Joy-Cons. The case provides Dpad functionality to the left Joy-Con for players who prefer the performance of a traditional Dpad. When not in use, the Dpad can be stored conveniently inside the Joy-Con cover giving access to the buttons on the left Joy-Con while the case is attached. The underside of the Joy-Con covers feature storage for up to 3 game cards. Like Thin Case, the minimal size of Dpad Case allows it to remain attached while the Switch is docked, saving players from the hassle of removing it every time they want to charge the console. Dpad Case will be available in Fall 2019 for an MSRP of $12.99.
Mini Wireless Core Controller is a compact-sized edition of last year’s Wireless Core Controller alongside some additional enhancements. The small-scale design of the controller allows it to be easily transported in a backpack or travel bag for on-the-go gaming sessions. A 3.5mm audio port is located on the bottom on the controller allowing a headset to be plugged in. Mini Wireless Core Controller for Switch will be available in Fall 2019 for an MSRP of $29.99.
Retro Core Controller is a full-sized retro style controller for players who prefer the feel and ergonomics of a more traditional controller. The controller features wired precision for lag-free play and includes programmable turbo for any face and shoulder buttons. Retro Core Controller is available now for an MSRP of $19.99.
Wireless Core Controller and Dualies
A new assortment of colors is coming to Nyko’s controller lineup. Wireless Core Controller will be available in fun new glossy colors including Blue/White and Purple/White. Dualies will also be available in vibrant new colors including Red/Blue, Blue/White and Purple/White. All colors of Wireless Core Controller will be available soon for an MSRP of $29.99. All colors of Dualies will be available soon for an MSRP of $39.99.
