Nyko Technologies, a premier peripherals manufacturer, announced today that it will release the Intercooler EX for the Xbox 360 in the first quarter of 2007 for a suggested retail price of $19.99. The Intercooler EX for Xbox 360 is the successor to the best selling Xbox 360 cooling device and improves on the original Intercooler, making it easier to use while extending the life of the Xbox 360 console.

Improving on the success of Nyko’s original Intercooler for Xbox 360, the Intercooler EX features a host of new features that help extend the life of the Xbox 360 console as well as keep it running at optimal performance levels. The Intercooler EX includes a new locking mechanism that ensures a snug and tight fit once it is connected to the Xbox 360. This tighter fit makes it easier to install while ensuring an optimal power and ventilation connection.

The connectors on the Intercooler EX are also made of a higher quality metal, reducing wear between the unit and console once an electrical charge becomes present. The Intercooler EX is also designed to easily accommodate the Wireless Network Adapter for the Xbox 360.
